Driving Mobility is a growing Australian business specialising in wheelchair-accessible vehicles, vehicle mobility modifications, and accessible vehicle hire and lease.
We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Workshop Assistant & Vehicle Detailer to join our team.
This is a varied role combining vehicle cleaning and detailing with hands-on workshop and installation support.
What You’ll Be Doing
Vehicle Detailing
· Mini-detail customer vehicles after installation and before collection
· Clean and prepare company vehicles for hire and lease
· Interior and exterior vehicle cleaning
· Ensure every vehicle leaves us clean, professional and ready for the customer
Workshop Support with Installations
· Assist automotive installation technicians with vehicle modification work
· Prepare vehicles, parts, tools and equipment for installations
· Assist with general installation and workshop tasks
· Receive and organise parts and materials
· Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe
· Help the team keep jobs moving and vehicles completed on time
We’re Looking For Someone Who
· Is practical, hands-on and enjoys working with vehicles
· Takes pride in doing a job properly
· Has strong attention to detail
· Is reliable, punctual and organised
· Is willing to learn new skills
· Works well as part of a small team
· Understands the importance of looking after customers’ vehicles
· Holds a current Australian driver’s licence
Experience and qualifications in vehicle detailing, automotive workshops, accessory fitting, automotive mechanical / electrical, motor trimming or a similar hands-on role is an advantage, but attitude and reliability are just as important.
Operating Hours
Driving Mobility operates a 38-hour work week, with the automotive workshop hours being:
· Monday to Thursday: 7 am to 3:45
· Monday to Friday: 7 am to 12 pm

Please Note:
Successful Candidate will require to provide or obtain valid National Police Clearance and NDIS Workers Clearance to meet company requirements to hold and maintain NDIS & other provider compliance & registration.
Pay: $35.00 – $43.37 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 per week
