The Galley Cafe Bar & Restaurant is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in Coomera.
We are a busy waterfront café serving quality coffee, breakfast and lunch to our local customers and visitors. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their coffee, has strong latte art skills, enjoys working with people and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
About the role:
- Preparing high-quality coffee consistently
- Creating quality latte art and well-presented coffees
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing and coffee preparation
- Taking customer orders and providing friendly service
- Operating coffee machines, grinders and other café equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organised coffee station
- Assisting the wider café team during busy periods
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures
- Working efficiently as part of a team
- Ensuring customers receive a welcoming and positive experience
Pay: $33.00 – $41.00 per hour
