Join Northern Star and take on a challenging and rewarding opportunity as a Senior Environmental Advisor at our Jundee Operations working on a 8 days on /6 days off roster on a permanent and full-time basis (there may be flexibility in the roster). In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring all company and contracting personnel are well‑informed, educated, and supported in understanding their environmental responsibilities across our sites.

- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
- Prepare, submit, and maintain statutory environmental compliance documentation and investigate incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
- Oversee monitoring requirements for licences, proposals, and closure plans ground water plans, groundwater licences, tenement conditions and other environmental compliance documentation
- Manage sampling, analysis, and reporting of environmental data. relating to environmental approval and license conditions, proactive monitoring & environmental incident investigation.
- Liaise with regulators and support audits. and have an active involvement in external audits as required.
- Implement and maintain the Environmental Management System.
- Interpret legislation, guidelines, and approvals and compile accurate reports to meet legislative requirements.
- Mentor junior staff
To thrive in this role, you will need.
Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar site-based role, including mining industry experience and environmental monitoring experience, with a strong understanding of WA mining legislation. Proficiency in ArcGIS and the Microsoft Office suite, with MonitorPro and EMS framework experience highly regarded. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the company
Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or similar, and a current C‑class driver’s licence
Passion for Growth: Lead, influence and build strong relationships with regulators as well as adapt and identify risks to implement practical solutions
