Italiano’s Fresh Produce is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Grocery Team Member to join our family run business in the heart of Brunswick.
You’ll help keep our grocery department stocked, organised while providing friendly, helpful service to our customers.
THE ROLE
- Restocking and presenting grocery products
- Rotating stock and checking use-by dates
- Receiving and unpacking deliveries
- Maintaining clean, tidy and well organised shelves
- Creating attractive product displays
- Assisting customers with product enquiries
- Helping across other areas of the store when required
- Following workplace safety and food handling procedures
- Register work when needed
ABOUT YOU
- Friendly, reliable and ready to work
- Positive attitude with strong attention to detail
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Able to safely perform the physical duties of the role, including lifting cartons and being on your feet
- Available to work 20 - 38 hours a week
- Retail or grocery experience is preferred but not essential, we’re happy to train the right person
