The Centre for Advanced Transport Engineering and Research (C.A.T.E.R.) is a multi-disciplined engineering company based in Wangara (Perth northern suburbs), specializing in the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of advanced rail inspection and condition monitoring systems since 1996.
Our ultrasonic rail testing technologies are used by major rail operators across Australia and internationally. With over 30 years of engineering innovation, C.A.T.E.R. continues to expand its presence throughout Asia, Europe and South America.
Due to continued growth and international expansion, we are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our team.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
This position plays an important role supporting C.A.T.E.R.'s marketing, branding and business development activities across Australia and international markets.
Working closely with management, engineering, sales and administration teams, the successful applicant will assist in the preparation of marketing material, technical documentation, tender submissions, exhibitions, customer communications and promotional campaigns that strengthen the company's global presence.
This is a varied position that combines marketing, communications, administration and project coordination within a specialized engineering environment
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful applicant will assist with:
- Coordinating C.A.T.E.R.'s marketing and communication activities.
- Preparing brochures, product catalogues, presentations and promotional material.
- Coordinating exhibitions, conferences and industry events both locally and internationally.
- Maintaining and updating company websites and marketing content.
- Managing company branding and ensuring consistency across all published material.
- Preparing customer success stories, case studies and newsletters.
- Assisting with LinkedIn content and corporate communications. applicable.
- Coordinating the production of graphic design material and photography.
- Supporting international distributors with marketing collateral.
- Assisting with translation and localization of marketing material for Portuguese-speaking markets.
- Liaising with external printers, designers and marketing suppliers.
- Maintaining marketing databases, image libraries and document control.
Providing administrative support to the Managing Director and Marketing department when required

- Graphic design experience will be highly regarded.
- Photography and video editing skills will be considered advantageous.
- Experience maintaining company websites (WordPress or similar CMS) will be an advantage.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design or related discipline.
- Previous experience in a Marketing Coordinator or similar role within the engineering industry.
- Experience preparing professional marketing material and business documentation.
- Experience working within engineering, manufacturing or industrial industries will be highly regarded.
Advanced or native-level Portuguese language skills are essential, as this role will provide marketing and administrative support for C.A.T.E.R.'s continued business expansion throughout South America, including communication with customers, distributors and business partners in Brazil.

Additional Information
