What you'll be doing
As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will provide expert clinical education, mentorship and professional support to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of contemporary, evidence-based patient care. You will lead education programs that enhance clinical competence, strengthen workforce capability and support organisational priorities.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Design, delivery and evaluation of clinical education programs, orientation, onboarding and mandatory training activities.
Mentoring, coaching and assessing nursing staff to achieve and maintain clinical competence in haemodialysis practice.
Facilitating bedside teaching and creating engaging learning opportunities that support professional growth.
Partnering with nursing leaders and multidisciplinary stakeholders to identify, plan and deliver workforce education needs.
Leading and contributing to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based education initiatives.

Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated extensive clinical experience and/or post registration qualification in the relevant speciality and nursing professional development/ education.
Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change within the context of best practice clinical care and workplace culture
Demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate clinical education at the ward level, and provide support and guidance to ensure an appropriately skilled and qualified nursing and midwifery workforce, working within appropriate models of care.
Demonstrated effective and high level communication skills including negotiation and conflict resolutions skills in addition to proven ability to motivate and engage people in the clinical setting.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous improvement whilst ensuring currency of practice in the relevant specialty.
Demonstrated ability and commitment to collaborative and integrated multidisciplinary teamwork, aimed at building and strengthening partnerships with consumers and key stakeholders to provide best practice service delivery.
Strong commitment to the on-going development/enhancement of nursing practice within a patient centred, multi-disciplinary clinical environment.
Relevant computer skills including database programmes and data entry.
