- 12-month fixed term opportunity
- Lead practical improvement projects across Fleet and Facilities
- Work across operational sites, stakeholders and service providers
Are you a practical, outcomes-focused project manager who enjoys bringing structure to complex operational environments? This 12-month opportunity will see you improve processes, strengthen governance and deliver tangible outcomes across Fleet and Facilities services.
At Barwon Asset Solutions, we deliver asset maintenance, project and operational services that support Barwon Water, our customers and the community. As Project Manager - Fleet & Facilities, you’ll help create safer, more efficient and more consistent ways of working.
You’ll lead Fleet and Facilities projects from planning through to implementation, including project plans, reporting, delivery risks, stakeholder coordination and improvements to systems, governance, processes and operational performance.
This delivery-focused role will work closely with other Fleet and Facilities team members, and offers the opportunity to identify quick wins, improve governance and embed changes that support safer, more effective service delivery.
You’ll spend time across Barwon Asset Solutions operational locations and Barwon Water sites as required, supporting change, improving end-to-end process visibility and strengthening the foundation for future Fleet and Facilities projects.
You’re an experienced project manager who can take complex operational projects from planning through to implementation. You bring strong governance, stakeholder engagement and change delivery capability, and you’re comfortable working across multiple teams, locations and priorities to achieve practical outcomes.
You have worked in fleet, facilities, asset-intensive, logistics or another operational environment and understand the importance of clear processes, reliable service delivery, compliance and continuous improvement. You know how to identify gaps, define better ways of working and implement sustainable improvements that make a measurable difference.
A relevant qualification in Project Management, Business, Asset Management, Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline would be valued. More importantly, you’ll bring proven project delivery experience, strong communication and facilitation skills, commercial thinking and the ability to drive outcomes without direct authority.
