About the Role
You will manage production, staff, workflow, quality, safety and deadlines. This is a hands-on role for someone who can solve problems, improve efficiency and keep production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily factory production and workflow
- Plan production to meet customer deadlines
- Lead, supervise and support factory staff
- Monitor quality, output and efficiency
- Coordinate cutting, CNC, waterjet, polishing, arrising, furnace and laminating operations
- Identify and resolve production issues and bottlenecks
- Manage staff allocation and production priorities
- Monitor material usage and minimise waste
- Work with Maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Ensure WHS requirements are followed
- Maintain production records and identify improvement opportunities
Skills & Experience
- Previous Production Manager, Factory Manager or similar experience
- Manufacturing experience highly regarded
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Practical, hands-on approach
- Computer literacy
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Positive can-do attitude
The Person We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, organised, accountable, and confident leading a team.
You will be someone who doesn't just manage from an office but is comfortable being on the factory floor, understanding what is happening, identifying problems, and making sure things get done.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
