We are looking for a skilled, reliable Mechanic to perform servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a range of vehicles, with a focus on cars, light commercials, and trucks. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical work alongside our tyre and alignment services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and maintenance on cars, utes, and trucks.
- Conduct diagnostics, fault-finding, brake work, suspension, steering, and general automotive repairs.
- Handle tyre-related mechanical tasks, including wheel alignments, balancing, and related services.
- Carry out logbook services, safety inspections, roadworthy checks, and rego-related work (where licensed).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
- Provide excellent customer service, including clear communication about repairs and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards.
- Assist with stock control and general workshop duties as needed.
About You
- Qualified Mechanic with Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620 or equivalent) — Heavy Vehicle/Diesel experience is highly regarded.
- 2–5+ years of post-trade experience in a workshop environment.
- Strong skills in diagnostics, repairs, and servicing across a variety of vehicles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
- Current Australian driver’s licence (HR or truck licence advantageous).
- Reliable, positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
Desirable:
- Experience in a tyre/auto retail environment.
- Licence for roadworthy/safety inspections.
- EV/hybrid knowledge or willingness to upskill.
