The Clinical Nurse Child Health provides community-based nursing care across the scope of child health practice delivered within universal and early intervention programs for families and children in the rural health setting. This position will be involved in the delivery of Putting Queensland Kids First initiatives including involvement in sustained home visiting, immunisations and childhood screening including vision and hearing.

St George and Charleville are designated Remote Area Nursing Incentive Package (RANIP) site in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award - State 2015. This attracts additional entitlements which may include:
An annual isolation bonus paid annually!
