The Position
We’re seeking a graduate to mid-level structural engineer to join our dynamic team at Xeros Piccolo Consulting Engineers. As we continue to grow, we require a qualified structural engineer to meet increasing customer demand and contribute to the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions across a wide range of projects.
This is a permanent position based in our busy Wagga Wagga office, offering the opportunity to work on ongoing projects from concept through to construction. You’ll collaborate closely with our experienced engineers and drafters, developing your technical skills while gaining hands-on experience in structural design, documentation, and project coordination. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer looking to build a rewarding career within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake structural engineering design and detailed calculations in accordance with relevant standards and project requirements.

Collaborate with drafting staff to ensure the production of accurate, high-quality documentation.

Coordinate with senior engineers and project managers to deliver projects efficiently, on time, and to specification.

Oversee project delivery to achieve successful outcomes and maintain strong client relationships.

Conduct site visits and inspections, as required, to support design development and project delivery.
Position Requirements

A degree in civil / structural engineering.

A strong interest in structural design.

Strong analytical, interpersonal, and computational skills.

An attitude and willingness to learn, both in a self-directed manner and from senior staff.

Relocation for employment – this is a permanent position in our Wagga Wagga office.
