About the Role
As the Support Officer – HRIS, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of Australian Red Cross’ People & Culture system, Dayforce. You will manage and resolve business-as-usual system requests, maintain accurate employee and organisational data, and ensure support activities are delivered in line with service standards.
Working within a collaborative People & Culture team, you will be responsible for performing data quality checks, supporting system administration and approved configuration activities, and contributing to testing and continuous improvement initiatives. Operating within established governance frameworks and escalation pathways, you will undertake approved configuration activities while maintaining comprehensive records to support audit and compliance requirements
Your work will help ensure our people systems remain reliable, compliant and user-friendly, supporting employees and leaders across the organisation.
About You
You are detail-oriented and customer-focused with an interest in systems, data integrity and delivering high-quality support. With experience working with HR systems, ideally Dayforce, you are confident managing system requests, maintaining accurate data and following established processes to ensure reliable and compliant outcomes. You enjoy combining customer service, technology and data management in a fast-paced environment.
Skills and Experience
- Sound written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain system related information clearly and respectfully to a range of users
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team, follow directions from more experienced team members, and demonstrate a reliable and proactive approach to work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data and records
- Ability to follow documented processes, instructions and templates to complete routine and repeatable tasks
- Basic problem solving skills, with the ability to recognise when an issue or request needs to be escalated
- Experience in administrative, coordination or support activities, ideally within HR, payroll or enterprise system environments, or a demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes with support
- Exposure to or basic familiarity with Dayforce or similar HR systems is desirable
- Experience working with diverse communities including First Nations, CALD and LGBTIQ+ participants

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 3. Salary from $64,006.59 based on 0.8 FTE + superannuation + salary packaging options.
