About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of cybersecurity, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and risk-related initiatives across the organization. This role requires a strong combination of project management expertise, cybersecurity knowledge, and stakeholder management skills.
The successful candidate will manage end-to-end project delivery, collaborate with technical and business teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational security objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity and risk management projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation strategies, and delivery schedules.
- Track project progress and ensure timely achievement of milestones.
- Ensure project governance, reporting, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Drive project execution while balancing business priorities and technical requirements.
Technical Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Business teams.
- Translate technical and security requirements into actionable project plans.
- Guide teams on delivery approaches, tools, technologies, and methodologies.
- Identify technical dependencies, risks, and implementation challenges.
- Support project teams in resolving complex technical issues and blockers.
- Promote best practices in cybersecurity project delivery.
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM), access revalidation processes, and cybersecurity principles.
- Support IAM initiatives involving user access governance and compliance requirements.
- Work with platforms such as CyberArk and SailPoint to deliver access management and security projects.
- Ensure alignment with security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Independently drive project outcomes by coordinating across technical and business teams.
- Communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide regular project status updates, dashboards, risk assessments, and executive reports.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
- Build strong relationships with senior leadership, business owners, and technical teams.
Risk & Issue Management
- Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Escalate critical issues appropriately and drive resolution.
- Remove blockers impacting project delivery and team productivity.
- Ensure projects maintain compliance with security and governance requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing cybersecurity, IAM, or security transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of:
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Access Reviews & Access Revalidations
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Cybersecurity governance and risk management
- Hands-on knowledge of:
- CyberArk
- SailPoint
- Experience managing cross-functional technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and governance skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent Project Management certification.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or related credentials are advantageous.
- Experience working within enterprise-scale security or identity management environments.

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
