Located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, Pastuso is a vibrant Peruvian restaurant celebrating the bold flavours, colours and traditions of Peru. Our bar is a big part of the Pastuso experience, with a strong focus on Pisco, creative cocktails and wine, all delivered alongside warm, energetic hospitality.

Position Available
Casual Bartender – Restaurant Award Level 2
We’re looking for a Casual Bartender to join the Pastuso team, with plenty of hours available as we head into our busy summer period:
•
Now–October: approximately 15–20 hours per week
•
November–February: approximately 30–38 hours per week
This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for consistent casual work now, with the opportunity to pick up close to full-time hours over summer.
Monday–Friday: $33.85 per hour
Saturday: $40.62 per hour
Sunday: $40.62 per hour
Public Holidays: $67.70 per hour

Your Day-to-Day Will Include
•
Preparing and serving cocktails, spirits, wine and beer to a consistently high standard in a busy restaurant environment
•
Providing warm, engaging service, confidently making recommendations and developing your knowledge of Pisco and Latin American spirits

Keeping the bar organised, stocked and running smoothly while working closely with the wider FOH team throughout service

What We’re Looking For
•
Minimum 1–2 years’ bartending experience in a busy restaurant, cocktail bar or similar hospitality environment, with strong cocktail-making skills and beverage knowledge
•
Confidence working efficiently behind the bar during busy services while maintaining quality, consistency and attention to detail
•
A current Victorian RSA and availability to work 30–38 hours per week between November and February
