We are looking for warm, reliable, and compassionate Vietnamese-speaking Community Support Workers to support elderly clients living independently in their homes across the Perth metropolitan area.
Important: This position involves NO personal care duties (no showering, toileting, or hygiene assistance). Your focus is helping our clients remain active, independent, and socially engaged while communicating comfortably in their first language.
What You’ll Be Doing
Social Connection & Companionship: Spending time chatting, reminiscing, walking, or doing activities together in Vietnamese.
Community Access & Transport: Driving clients to Vietnamese cultural centres, local Asian grocers, social clubs, or routine appointments.
Light Domestic Support: Preparing light meals (including Vietnamese home dishes if preferred) and general light tidying.
Wellbeing Checks: Keeping track of overall client comfort and logging quick shift notes.

What You Bring
Language: Fluent Vietnamese (essential for client connection) and working English for progress notes and office communication.
Transport: Current Australian Driver’s Licence with a reliable, insured vehicle.
Screening & Clearances: Valid National Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
Certifications: Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009).
Work Rights: Valid Australian working rights (Citizens, PR, and student/work visas with work entitlements are welcome to apply).
Prior aged care or community experience is valued, but genuine empathy, reliability, and respect for our elders matter most.
Pay: $35.00 – $44.00 per hour
