By stewardship, we essentially mean ‘accepting responsibility to care for something of value.’
Seeking: General expressions of interest in providing assistance to further the work of the charity
Ideal people have one or more of the following attributes:
· A passion for stewardship (in some form) and can communicate this on a variety of levels;
· A high degree of self-motivation, yet is also able to work effectively in a team;
. Skills such as creative writing, musical abilities, artistic, accounting, technological, entrepreneurial, project management or others you feel may benefit the charity;
· Previously developed telemarketing/fundraising skills and
· Experience with a not-for-profit organisation.
Volunteering for a charity is an awesome way to gain experience in a field of your dreams. There is also potential for mentoring for the right people.
If you have a desire to make a difference in the world and work with a team of great people, then this is an opportunity to be seized wholeheartedly.
