About the Role
As our Early Childhood Teacher, you will lead and deliver a high-quality kindergarten program that supports children’s academic, social, emotional and physical development as they prepare for a confident transition to school. You will help create an environment where children are encouraged to become active participants in their learning. You will work alongside a multicultural team of educators and a supportive leadership team who value collaboration, reflective practice and genuine care for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
As an Early Childhood Teacher at Caroline Springs Montessori, you will play an important role in bringing our Montessori philosophy to life. You will:
· Design and implement an inclusive and purposeful kindergarten curriculum aligned with the VEYLDF, NQS and Montessori principles.
- Create an inclusive and engaging learning environment where every child feels encouraged to explore.
- Support children’s independence, confidence and practical life skills through child-led learning and intentional teaching.
- Mentor and collaborate with educators in your room to support effective routines, meaningful documentation and reflective practice.
- Maintain strong standards in child safety, supervision, compliance and professional practice in line with service policies, the National Quality Framework and regulatory expectations.
- Be a team player and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, or ACECQA-approved equivalent
- VIT Registration
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
- Current National Police Check
- A genuine passion for Montessori education, child-led learning and early childhood development
Pay: $75,127.00 – $92,872.00 per year
