Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, maintain, and optimise computer networks and systems
- Monitor network performance, availability, security, and system reliability
- Install and configure network hardware, software, servers, and related infrastructure
- Diagnose and resolve network, connectivity, hardware, and system issues
- Implement network security measures, access controls, backups, and recovery procedures
- Maintain technical documentation, network configurations, and system records
- Analyse system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades
- Support users and internal teams with network and systems-related technical issues
- Assist with system upgrades, migrations, testing, and infrastructure projects
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant professional experience in network engineering, systems administration, or a similar technical role
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, servers, and network security
- Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, system configuration, and technical support
- Good understanding of backup, recovery, security, and system maintenance practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills
- Good communication, documentation, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple technical priorities
