Your new role:
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver delegated clinical support activities that help prevent delirium, reduce functional decline and promote recovery for older patients at Redland Hospital. Under the guidance of health professionals, you will provide patient-centred interventions, support group activities, engage with patients and carers, and contribute to safe, high-quality care within your defined scope of practice. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping older adults maintain independence, confidence and quality of life during their hospital journey.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Strong communication skills with patients, carers and health professionals
Commitment to supporting patient mobility, nutrition, cognition and independence
Demonstrated ability to follow delegated care activities within scope of practice
Strong organisational skills with a focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement

By focusing on nutrition, mobility, and meaningful engagement, EWE supports recovery, reduces the risk of delirium, and creates more age-friendly hospital environments through education, collaboration and service improvement.
