Rate of pay is dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Prepare and hang all required components for Mother Bin units, including sanding, scraping, cleaning, and applying silicone in preparation for painting.
- Carry out mechanical assembly such as installation of wheels, auger assemblies, motors, clutches and other mother bin parts.
- Perform basic hydraulic installation and testing where required.
- Preping components for installation.
- Complete final finishing tasks including fitting decals, stickers, and other aesthetic components.
- Report any defects, deviations, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to workplace safety protocols.
- Workshop assistance, including but not limited to; cutting and bending materials, assisting with moving material, cleaning of machines and workshop.
Required Skill / Knowledge
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure accurate fitting and assembly.
- Previous experience working in manufacturing or mechanical assembly environments. (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Forklift licence. (preferred).
- Overhead crane operation experience. (preferred).
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift and handle heavy components.
