This is a newly created position, the General Manager – Operations is accountable for leading and evolving the operational function for the Wealth APAC business unit, ensuring efficient, scalable and high-quality delivery of services to clients and the business.
This role owns end-to-end operational performance, including the leadership of operational teams, and plays a key role in enabling the success of the business unit through strong execution, discipline, and continuous improvement.
Working in close partnership with the BU CEO and BU Leadership Team, the role translates strategic priorities into operational plans, ensures readiness and delivery of key initiatives, and builds the operational capability required to support growth and long-term business performance.

Operational leadership and performance
Lead and develop high-performing operational teams, with accountability for service delivery, performance, and engagement
Own operational outcomes across the business unit, ensuring efficiency, quality, and consistency
Establish clear performance metrics, service standards, and reporting frameworks
Operational strategy and business enablement
Partner with the BU CEO and Wealth Leadership Team to translate strategic priorities into clear operational plans and execution
Provide operational insight to inform business planning, prioritisation, and investment decisions
Identify and execute opportunities to improve business performance through operational leverage
Operational excellence and continuous improvement
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, simplifying processes and improving customer and employee outcomes
Use data and insights to identify inefficiencies and prioritise improvement initiatives
Lead initiatives to uplift and modernise operational capability, including systems, tooling, and processes
Business execution and delivery
Support delivery of key business initiatives by ensuring operational readiness and execution discipline
Remove friction across functions to improve speed, quality, and consistency of delivery
Operational governance and discipline
Establish clear operational governance, reporting, and performance rhythms across the business
Ensure consistent execution against priorities, with clear ownership and accountability
Maintain effective day-to-day operational controls and oversight as part of standard business operations
What you will bring
Strong operational leadership experience, with accountability for service delivery and team performance
Deep understanding of operational excellence, including transformation and process optimisation, service management, and performance frameworks
Experience operating in complex, technology-enabled environments (ideally fintech and/or financial services)
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance efficiency, cost, and growth
Ability to design and embed governance, reporting, and execution discipline within a business
Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability at senior levels
