An IT Support Specialist helps businesses and employees solve computer and technology problems. Their work usually includes:
- Fixing hardware, software, and network issues
- Setting up computers, laptops, and user accounts
- Helping users with passwords, email, and Microsoft 365
- Troubleshooting internet and system problems
- Responding to helpdesk tickets and support requests
- Monitoring IT systems and cybersecurity tools
- Supporting cloud services and business applications
- Assisting with system updates and maintenance
