Assertiv is an IT Security company specialising in Identity related solutions, support, training and managed services. We are currently looking for a talented IDAM Security Engineer with a background in designing, developing, implementing and supporting Identity Security solutions.
We are seeking candidates who possess good technical knowledge and experience with Opentext NetIQ Identity Governance, Silverfort Identity Security Platform, Microsoft Entra ID and related technologies and are willing to do the hard yards when it comes to delivering successful outcomes for our customers. In return, we will provide you with training across a variety of products, on-site (or remote) customer experience, and the support of a great team to help you further develop your skills and experience in IT Security.
Role Description
This role will engage in workforce and customer Identity related projects and undertake the following project-based activities:
· Install and configure Workforce and Customer Identity products.
· Install and configure Identity Security products including ISPM and ITDR.
· Develop integrations between Identity systems and business applications, specifically onboarding applications to Identity Governance systems.
· Conduct functional testing and undertake code fixes as required.
· Assist with System, Integration, Performance and User Acceptance Testing.
· Assist with documentation (Solution Design, Test Cases, Deployment Guides, As-built documents).
· Develop drivers and connectors for connected applications.
· Design and implement single sign-on using open standards (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, WS-FED).
· Design and implement advanced authentication processes (Multi-Factor, Risk Based Auth).
· Assist with handover and/or training to customer BAU/Operations teams.
· Provide ongoing solution support for customer implementations.
We are looking for candidates with the following attributes and experience:
· University graduated, with coursework around software development, computer networks, and web development.
· Two or more years of professional work experience with Workforce and/or Customer Identity related products such as NetIQ, Silverfort, Ping Identity, and Microsoft Entra.
· Experience with developing, implementing, and configuring complex IT Security solutions.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Security concepts and principles (e.g. knowledge of SAML and OAuth).
· Strong programming and scripting skills (Java, PowerShell, JavaScript, Bash, etc.).
· Networking technologies and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls).
· Virtualisation, Citrix, VMware.
· Cloud computing – AWS, Azure, Google, and hybrid environments.
· Windows Server/Active Directory/ADFS
· Linux (Red hat and/or SUSE), IOS, Android.
