We are looking for an experienced Event Coordinator to join our Events Department and help deliver unforgettable experiences across our prestigious hospitality venues.
In this full-time, fast-paced role, you will coordinate and execute exceptional events from start to finish, working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure every detail is seamless. You’ll be the go-to person on the day, welcoming guests, managing logistics, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Supervising and working onsite at events.
· Supporting crowd management and ensuring adherence to venue capacity regulations.
· Being fully conversant with, and enforcing, venue safety and emergency evacuation procedures.
· Reporting incidents, hazards, or guest concerns promptly to the Event Operations Manager.
· Providing logistical support throughout all stages of event delivery, including bump-in, event operations and bump-out
· Coordinating operational event requirements and assisting with event set-up and pack-down, including signage placement and stanchion set-up.
· Conducting site inspections and attending client meetings.
· Preparing detailed event run sheets.
· Providing day-to-day support at events and assisting the Event Operations Manager as required.
The Successful Candidate will have:
· Proven customer service experience (hospitality, retail, events).
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· A calm, friendly, and professional demeanour, even under pressure.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
· Physical stamina to be on your feet for long periods and perform light manual tasks.
· Flexibility to work unsocial hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
· A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
· A valid NSW driver's licence and the ability to drive.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
