- Help change a child's life every single day
At Variety – the Children's Charity, we believe every child deserves a fair go. We support children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage, or living with disability by providing funding, equipment, programs and life-changing experiences that help them reach their full potential.
We're looking for a highly organised and compassionate Grants Officer Kids Support to join our passionate team to play a vital role in supporting South Australian children and families when they need it most. This is a diverse role combining grants administration, program support and stakeholder engagement.
Why You'll Love This Role:
This is more than an administration position.
Behind every grant application, every funded piece of equipment and every child-focused experience is a family whose life is being changed. You'll be the person helping ensure those programs run smoothly, efficiently and with care.
If you love organisation, thrive on meaningful work and want to be part of a team making a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Coordinating the administration of Variety's grants programs
- Supporting families and organisations through the grant’s application process
- Maintaining accurate records, data and reporting information
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of children's programs and experiences
- Coordinating volunteer administration and communications
- As the staff representative on the Variety in Action Committee, you will support school registrations, coordinate children's event planning and logistics, and foster volunteer engagement to ensure the successful delivery of committee activities.
- Working closely with families, volunteers, donors and internal stakeholders
What You'll Bring:
- Previous experience in administration, program coordination or support roles
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with databases, CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- A genuine passion for helping children and families
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Experience within the not-for-profit, education or community sector will be highly regarded
What's In It For You?
- Meaningful work that creates real impact for South Australian children
- A supportive, values-driven team culture
- The opportunity to be part of one of South Australia's most respected charities
- Varied work combining administration, stakeholder engagement and program support
- The chance to contribute to life-changing outcomes every single day
Join a team that believes every child deserves the opportunity to dream big, participate fully and reach their potential.
