We are seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Bar Manager to support the leadership team and help deliver exceptional service, team performance and operational excellence.

About You:
Passionate about hospitality with a strong awareness of current industry trends
Previous leadership experience in a high-end bar, lounge or premium venue
Strong knowledge of food and beverage, with attention to detail in service delivery
Inclusive and supportive leadership style with a focus on team development
Highly organised with experience in inventory management, stock rotation and ordering
Energetic, proactive and guest-focused
Flexible and adaptable to a rotating roster
Current NSW RSA Certificate

The Role:
CirQ offers a sophisticated and dynamic bar experience, blending luxury service with a vibrant atmosphere.
As Assistant Bar Manager, you will support the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading the bar team and ensuring every guest interaction reflects the highest standards of excellence.
You’ll be:
Supporting the day-to-day operations of the bar and floor service
Leading, coaching and mentoring supervisors and bar team members
Delivering exceptional guest experiences in line with 5-star service standards
Managing stock control, inventory processes and ordering
Collaborating with the venue leadership team to drive business initiatives
Maintaining high standards of presentation, service and team performance
Supporting both bar and floor operations to ensure seamless service delivery
Contributing to a positive, collaborative and high-energy team culture
You’ll bring:
Previous experience in a leadership role within a premium bar or lounge
Strong understanding of high-end service and guest expectations
Solid product knowledge across food and beverage offerings
Proven ability to train, coach and develop team members
Strong organisational skills with attention to operational detail
A hands-on, can-do attitude with a passion for hospitality
Commitment to delivering memorable and elevated guest experiences
Please note this is a permanent full time role consisting of 40 hours of work per week. Only candidates holding unrestricted working right will be considered.
