Location-

Contractor Profile Qualifications and Experience-
Tertiary qualifications in Dance, Dance Education, Performing Arts, or a related discipline.

Demonstrated experience teaching dance to students across a range of ages and abilities, with a particular focus on Years 1-12.

Experience teaching one or more dance styles such as contemporary, jazz, ballet, musical theatre, hip hop, or commercial dance.

Strong pedagogical knowledge, including technical development, safe dance practice, and age-appropriate choreography.

Experience preparing students for performances, examinations, auditions, competitions, or eisteddfods.

Ability to inspire students and foster confidence, creativity, discipline, and a growth-minded approach to learning.

You are an enthusiastic and motivational dance educator who brings energy, expertise, and a genuine passion for teaching and performance. You demonstrate excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to engage positively with students of all ages and abilities. You are committed to maintaining high artistic and educational standards while modelling professionalism, patience, and student-centred teaching.
Experience working in a school setting, operating a private dance studio, leading performance ensembles, choreographing productions, or performing professionally will be highly regarded. You will also be expected to actively support and comply with the College's Student Protection Policy and procedures.

EOIs will be assessed based on:

Qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated capability in dance tuition and performance education.

Evidence of successful student outcomes and teaching effectiveness.

Risk considerations, including child safety compliance.

Evidence of relevant qualifications.

A Capability Statement outlining experience, teaching history, teaching philosophy or methodology, dance specialisations, and areas of expertise.

Proof of current public liability insurance.

Proposed availability.

Copy of Current Paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
