About your role
As an Administration Officer, you'll provide high-quality reception and administrative support across the Addiction and Mental Health Services, helping patients, families, carers and clinical teams navigate their care.
Provide professional front-line reception and customer service, responding to enquiries and supporting patients, families, carers and staff.
Coordinate appointments, patient movements, room bookings and other administrative requirements to support effective patient flow.
Accurately maintain patient information, admissions, discharges, transfers and other documentation across relevant health information systems.
Provide administrative support across community, outpatient and inpatient services, including telehealth clinics and the Mental Health Review Tribunal Team.
Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams while managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines with a high degree of autonomy.
About you
You're an organised and adaptable administration professional who enjoys working with people and can remain calm and effective in a busy healthcare environment.
Demonstrated experience in reception, customer service and contemporary administrative duties.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise discretion, initiative and sound judgement.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and information technology systems, with the ability to quickly learn new applications.
