Wireless, Fixed & INA Tech & Program Delivery Chapter Type Lead Principal
Job Summary
This senior role combines people leadership, senior executive influence, strategic program execution and deep technical delivery expertise. You will have a direct accountability to champion and uplift the capability in our teams and the accountability to deliver our most complex transformation programs across Telstra’s digital infrastructure, support Network as a Product and advance the Telstra Autonomous Network vision through our Connected Future 30 strategy.
Responsibilities & What You’ll Do:
As the Wireless, Fixed & INA Tech & Program Delivery Chapter Type Lead Principal, in the leader of people leaders persona (~30%) you will:
Lead six chapters and around 70 technical delivery leads delivering missions across Wireless, Fixed and Intelligent Network Automation Network Groups
Build capability, strengthen engagement and develop a strong technical delivery talent pipeline
Drive consistent delivery standards across governance, financial discipline, ROIC, benefits realisation and operating leverage
Coach Chapter Leads and create a collaborative, high-performing culture.
In the technical execution leadership persona (~70%), you will:
Lead our most strategic and complex transformation program(s) in Wireless, Fixed and Intelligent Network Automation Network Groups
Establish and evolve group executive-level governance and lead complex technical programs, portfolios and missions
Through your influence and hands on bias for action, create clarity, remove blockers and influence cross-business delivery to achieve end-to-end outcomes and business benefits
Manage budgets, resourcing, risks, dependencies, tools and vendor partnerships
Identify improvement opportunities that lift delivery performance and business impact

In Networks, Product and Technology, you’ll help deliver the networks and technology capabilities that connect Australia and businesses globally. This role plays a key part in lifting delivery performance and supporting major strategic programs including Telstra Autonomous Networks, Connected Future 30 and Network as a Product.

Proven technical program delivery experience across agile, hybrid and traditional methodologies.

Technical delivery, commercial and engineering expertise across large-scale technology environments in Wireless, Fixed or Intelligent Network Automation domains
