Looking for an ECT role where you have the freedom to inspire children, the support to grow professionally and a team behind you?
Lowood Early Education Centre is looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to lead our Kindergarten program and become an important part of our centre community.
At Lowood EEC, you won’t be expected to do it all alone. You’ll be supported by an experienced centre team, a dedicated
ECT Mentor, pedagogy support and a wider network of Early Childhood Teachers who regularly come together to collaborate, share ideas and support one another.
More Benefits for Our Early Childhood Teachers
We recognise the knowledge, responsibility and leadership our ECTs bring to our centres. That’s why our ECTs receive additional benefits, including:
- Additional annual leave for ECTs
- ECT bonus opportunities
- Regular ECT networking and collaboration meetings
- Dedicated ECT Mentor support
- Above award wages
- Up to 75% off childcare fees
- Paid professional development and training
- Financial support towards postgraduate study
- Free uniforms
- 24/7 Employee Assistance Program
- Tenure bonuses and staff recognition
- Relocation support where applicable
- Genuine career pathways within QCCS
Make the Kindergarten Program Your Own
As our Early Childhood Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to create a Kindergarten program that reflects the interests, strengths and needs of your children.
You’ll:
- Lead an engaging, play-based Kindergarten program
- Create meaningful learning experiences that build children’s confidence, curiosity and independence
- Guide and collaborate with your room team
- Build strong, genuine partnerships with families
- Support each child as they prepare for their transition to school
- Contribute your ideas, knowledge and experience to the wider Lowood EEC team
What We’re Looking For
You’ll hold, or be working towards, an approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification and have a current Queensland Blue Card.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who
loves early childhood education, enjoys building meaningful relationships and wants to make their Kindergarten room somewhere children are excited to be.
Lowood EEC is part of Queensland Childcare Services, giving you the close-knit feel of a local centre with access to a wider professional network, resources, mentoring and career opportunities.
You’ll have other ECTs to connect with, experienced mentors to turn to and a team that understands the important role you play in giving children the strongest possible start.
Ready for an ECT role where you can grow, lead and feel supported?
