Omni is seeking a Stores Officer to join our Aerospace team, supporting aviation maintenance operations through the effective management of aircraft parts, components, tooling and stores. Working closely with maintenance, engineering and management teams, this role is responsible for ensuring the right parts and equipment are available, serviceable, accounted for and accurately recorded to support safe and efficient aircraft maintenance activities.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Managing aviation sores, aircraft components, equipment, tooling and consumables to support maintenance requirements.

Sourcing aircraft parts, raising purchase orders, receipting and issuing stores, and accurately acquitting requisitions.

Conducting stock takes, maintaining inventory records and ensuring stores systems are accurate and up to date.

Coordinating freight, supplier management, warranty claims, core exchange parts and repair. maintenance of stores.

Ensuring tools, components and parts are serviceable, correctly stored, calibrated, tagged and managed in line with shelf-life, quarantine and disposal requirements.

Supporting compliance with Omni policies, Operations Manual requirements and relevant CASA regulations wile identifying opportunities for process improvements.
The Stores Officer will bring experience in aviation stores, inventory, procurement or technical stores support with a strong understanding of parts management, record keeping and compliance requirements in a regulated environment. They will be highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable working with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure accurate, timely and reliable stores support.
They will have strong communication and liaison skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accurate records and high standards of accountability. Experience using Aero track, working with aviation standards and supporting procurement or supplier management activities would be highly regarded.

Hold a current Australian Government Security Clearance or be willing to obtain one

Have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
In addition this role will require:
- At least 3 years’ experience in an Aviation Stores role

Demonstrated knowledge of CASA requirements and Aviation Standards as it relates to parts and equipment.

The ability to maintain records and account for stores and equipment.
