Wood is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Storeperson to ensure that all materials received are located, stored, and preserved in accordance with company standard policies and procedures, with all daily and forecast material requests at the Ampol Refinery in Brisbane.
This role is seeking Warehouse Storeperson who holds a current forklift license AND can drive/maintain a forklift.
At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/VISA in place for this region.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in warehousing / stores / materials management, with strong focus on mechanical spare parts and a commitment to safety.

For 10+ years, Wood has held a Maintenance contract at the Lytton Refinery in Brisbane, Australia and have been heavily imbedded into the Ampol culture with a strong focus on team alignment across the contracting teams.
Our team of engineers, planners, supervisors, team leads, quality control, contract management, mechanical and electrical technicians, logistics, payroll, site administration, project management and human resourcing are committed in producing and distributing petroleum and fuel safely and efficiently to customers and stakeholders.

- Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial warehousing, maintenance stores, materials management or spare parts warehousing,
- Previous experience within refining, petrochemical, mining, manufacturing, energy or other heavy industrial environments is highly regarded,
- Demonstrated SAP Materials Management (MM) experience including Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, inventory transactions and stock management activities ( mandatory ),
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, stock preservation and material traceability requirements,
- Experience managing mechanical spare parts, rotating equipment, valves, piping, instrumentation and maintenance materials,
- Experience handling material certifications, heat traceability records and quality documentation,
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods storage and handling requirements or willingness to obtain relevant certification,
- Sound understanding of HSE, Quality Management and Warehouse Management Systems,
- Current Forklift Licence (mandatory),
- Current Australian Driver Licence (mandatory),
- Strong computer literacy including SAP, Microsoft Office.
