The Role:
Reporting to our hatted Head Chef, Ben Sitton, you will ignite your passion for excellence in product and execution. Working alongside our senior kitchen team, you will support all kitchen operations and service aspects. Your contribution will be crucial in defining the service culture and guest experience.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of your section and kitchen, including, but not limited to, food cogs, a food safety program, and menu development.
- Accountable for all aspects of section operations.
- Responsible for delivering exceptional delivery standards and consistent products.
- Responsible for kitchen presentation and cleanliness.
- Ensures the venue is compliant, which may include completing HEM Safe inspections.
About you:
- 2+ years experience in a Hatted or premium venue.
- Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.

The Dry Dock is conveniently located directly opposite Mort Bay Park and Thames St, Balmain Ferry Wharf – only 11 minutes from Circular Quay.
There is ample ‘all day’ free car parking located in the streets around the venue.
