6:30am – 1:30pm
We’re looking for an experienced Barista / All-Rounder to join our food truck located on a busy construction site in South Granville.
This is a true all-rounder position. The successful applicant must be confident and experienced in both barista work and food preparation/cooking, as you will be required to move between the coffee machine, kitchen and service throughout the shift.
Duties include:
- Making consistently great coffee
- Dialling in/calibrating the coffee machine and grinder
- Taking and preparing customer orders
- Light cooking and food preparation
- Confidently and safely using the fryer
- Preparing burgers, wraps, sandwiches and salads
- Restocking food, drinks, milk and packaging
- Monitoring stock levels
- Maintaining a clean and organised food truck
- General cleaning and end-of-shift duties
- Providing fast and friendly customer service
You must:
- Have previous barista experience
- Be confident dialling in and calibrating coffee
- Be capable and confident with food preparation and cooking
- Be reliable, punctual and ready to start at 6:30am
- Be comfortable working within a construction-site environment
- Work efficiently during busy periods
- Have excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Be able to work independently and use initiative
- Be comfortable performing all aspects of the role — coffee, food, service, stock and cleaning
Food truck, café or takeaway experience is highly regarded.
