We currently have an opportunity for an HR Advisor (Employee Relations) to join our Brisbane-based HR team.

We currently have an opportunity for an HR Advisor (Employee Relations) to join our Brisbane-based HR team.
Reporting to the HR Manager (Support), you will provide practical employee and industrial relations support across our operations, partnering with leaders on workplace matters, investigations, performance management and HR compliance. Experience within mining, civil construction or other blue-collar, operational environments will be highly regarded.
Golding offers flexible working arrangements, allowing you to work from home and from our Brisbane office. Regular travel to project sites will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide employee and industrial relations advice across multiple project and operational sites.
- Support leaders with performance management, conduct issues, grievances and workplace conflict.
- Conduct and support workplace investigations and prepare associated documentation and reports.
- Assist with enterprise agreement compliance, industrial relations initiatives and workforce consultations.
- Deliver ER and workplace behaviour training to leaders and employees.
- Monitor ER trends, identify risks and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Perform HR administration activities, including maintaining HR records, updating HR registers, employee contracts and managing labour hire vendor documentation.
About You
- Degree qualified in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Business or a related discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Experience managing employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations frameworks and enterprise agreements.
- Skilled at coaching leaders through performance, conduct and workplace behaviour matters.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Able to manage sensitive matters with professionalism, discretion and sound judgement.
- Experience in mining, construction, infrastructure or project-based environments is highly regarded.
