ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking an experienced Manager to lead our HR operations and business partnering function.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will oversee the delivery of day-to-day People & Culture services across the employee lifecycle, ensuring leaders receive timely, practical and commercially sound support. Leading a small team, you'll partner closely with operational leaders to manage workforce challenges, employee relations matters, performance outcomes and compliance requirements.
This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering excellent people services, building leadership capability and ensuring HR processes, systems and practices operate efficiently and effectively across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop the People & Culture Business Partnering team to deliver high-quality HR services and support
- Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning and people matters
- Manage complex employee relations and industrial relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes and Fair Work matters
- Oversee HR operational processes, compliance activities and employee records to ensure accuracy and audit readiness
- Leverage AI and technology tools to streamline HR processes, reduce manual administration and improve operational efficiency across the employee lifecycle.
ABOUT YOU
You are an experienced HR leader who enjoys solving problems, building strong relationships and helping leaders navigate people challenges with confidence. You bring a pragmatic and service-focused approach, balancing operational excellence with sound judgement and commercial thinking.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, you know how to influence outcomes, manage competing priorities and build trust at all levels of the organisation. Most importantly, you're passionate about delivering great people experiences and supporting teams to perform at their best.
YOU WILL BRING
- HR Business Partnering or HR Operations leadership experience gained in the services industry
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, industrial relations and employee relations practices
- Experience managing complex performance, conduct and workplace matters
- Proven experience leading and developing teams
- Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with HR systems and workforce data
- Relevant HR qualifications preferred
- Aged care or home care sector exposure an advantage
