Salary: $116,981 - $129,492 pa + Leave Loading + Superannuation

Are you an experienced compliance professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving continuous improvement? Join Corrective Services NSW as a Facilities maintenance Compliance Officer at Francis Greenway Correctional Complex, where your work will play a vital role in ensuring essential facilities maintenance services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with legislative and contractual requirements.
Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you'll monitor, investigate, audit and evaluate internal operations and contracted service providers to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and the Infrastructure Support Services (ISS) contract. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining high-quality services across NSW correctional facilities.
What you'll be doing
Conduct compliance monitoring, audits, investigations and quality assurance activities to ensure facilities maintenance services meet legislative, regulatory and contractual requirements.
Monitor and evaluate contracted service providers against quality standards, performance measures and contract obligations.
Analyse data, prepare evidence-based reports and provide recommendations to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Identify compliance risks and emerging issues, recommending practical solutions to improve governance, safety and operational performance.
Provide expert advice to stakeholders on legislative and contractual requirements while contributing to the development of policies, procedures and service improvements.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen compliance, enhance service delivery and promote a culture of accountability and excellence.

What we are looking for
Relevant trade-based qualifications or demonstrated ability managing compliance within a facilities maintenance-based business
Relevant tertiary qualification in any of the following: Business Management, Facilities Management, Property Management, Compliance, Risk or Governance, Project Management, Building Services or Engineering (desirable)
Experience which demonstrates the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description including:
Experience managing compliance frameworks within a large corporate or government environment
Experience overseeing facilities maintenance contractors and service providers
Experience with audits, assurance programs and regulatory compliance
Experience developing policies, procedures and governance reporting
Experience managing corrective actions and continuous improvement programs
Knowledge of: NSW WHS legislation, Building compliance requirements, Contractor management, Risk management principles, Records management obligations
