You know what they say – breakfast is the most important meal of the day. That’s why we’re looking for a keen kitchen legend to serve up the perfect morning fuel at Left bank Melbourne Southbank.
Early starts, long commutes and busy morning schedules are a welcome challenge – you make time poor guests think twice about skipping the dining room on their way out. With the satiable scents you’re conjuring, they won’t be able to say no to a morning feed.
You rise with the sun and as the first in the Kitchen, you get everything in order for the day ahead. You keep stock levels where they should be, receive deliveries as needed and the words ‘minimum wastage’ have never rung truer under your watch. You live by the 3 Ps – preparation, production, and presentation – to guarantee there’s not a single hiccup during the morning rush.
Teamwork really does the make dream work at this Establishment and you’re second to none at jumping on in and lending a hand wherever needed. Guests are your priority, and you know they way to their heart is through their stomach – but we need to work together to ensure they dine with us in the first place.

What we need:
- Proven experience running a commercial kitchen independently
- Confident executing service alone, not just assisting
- Reliable, high personal standards, takes ownership
- Food Safety Handler certificate or willing to obtain
The details:
- 5 days/week across a 7-day roster
- 7 am–4pm shifts
- Fulltime
- Start date: early June 2026
- Southbank, Melbourne
