We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Spray Painter to join our dynamic team in delivering world-class equipment built to the highest standards.
The Role
As an experienced Industrial Spray Painter who takes pride in delivering a premium final finish, you will play a key role in preparing and coating our industry-leading screening attachments. Working closely with our fabrication and assembly teams, you will ensure all equipment is finished to a high commercial standard and ready for delivery to customers around the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fabricated steel components for painting, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and priming.
- Apply coatings using industrial spray systems to achieve high-quality finishes.
- Work confidently with both water-based and enamel paint systems.
- Ensure correct film thickness, consistent coverage, and defect-free finishes.
- Mix paints accurately and manage curing times effectively.
- Maintain paint booth cleanliness and comply with all safety procedures.
- Work efficiently to meet fabrication and production schedules.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all finished products meet company standards.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Industrial Spray Painter in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, mining, or construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial paint systems, application techniques, and surface preparation.
- High attention to detail with pride in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Forklift licence preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working around heavy machinery or fabricated equipment is highly regarded.
