About the Role
SuccessVisa is seeking an experienced and passionate Education Counsellor to join our growing Melbourne team. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong understanding of the Australian education sector and extensive experience assisting international students with course selection, admissions, and student visa pathways.
You will play a key role in helping students make informed education decisions while ensuring compliance with Australian education regulations and delivering an exceptional student experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed student consultations and provide accurate guidance on courses, institutions, and study pathways across Australia.
- Assess students' academic backgrounds and career goals to recommend suitable education options.
- Manage student applications across ELICOS, VET, TAFE, Colleges, and Universities.
- Prepare and review admission documentation, including Genuine Student (GS) requirements and supporting documents.
- Liaise with education providers to secure offers, Confirmations of Enrolment (CoEs), and application outcomes.
- Provide ongoing support for enrolment changes, course transfers, extensions, deferrals, and cancellations.
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM system while ensuring compliance with ESOS, CRICOS, and PRISMS requirements.
- Stay up to date with education provider updates, visa regulations, and industry changes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with education providers and prospective students.
- Follow up on enquiries and convert leads into successful enrolments.
- Achieve individual and team enrolment targets while maintaining high service standards.
- Participate in education events, seminars, and community engagement activities.

What You'll Need
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Education Counsellor within Australia (essential).
- Proven experience processing applications for Australian education providers.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian education system and student visa processes.
- Excellent understanding of PRISMS, CRICOS, ESOS, and Genuine Student (GS) requirements.
- QEAC qualification (highly regarded).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple student cases independently.
- High attention to detail and commitment to ethical student counselling.
- Experience using CRM systems and student management platforms.
- Valid Australian work rights.
