Intrinsic Health Group is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary team on the Sunshine Coast in a permanent part-time position.
You will be based entirely within the Vitality Movement Centre in Birtinya, with access to purpose-built clinical facilities, rehabilitation equipment and dedicated gym spaces. This role does not currently involve home or community visits, allowing you to focus your time on delivering high-quality, centre-based Exercise Physiology services.
Working alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians and other allied health clinicians, you will have the opportunity to build a varied caseload and contribute to the continued development of our Exercise Physiology services.
The role may support clients across private, NDIS, Medicare, DVA, Support at Home and CHSP referral pathways, depending on your experience, interests and service demand.

- Completing Exercise Physiology assessments and developing individualised exercise programs
- Delivering one-on-one and, where appropriate, group-based exercise sessions
- Supporting clients to improve their strength, mobility, balance, endurance and functional capacity
- Working with clients experiencing chronic health conditions, disability, age-related changes, injury or reduced physical function
- Monitoring progress and adapting exercise programs in response to client needs and goals
- Using appropriate clinical outcome measures to demonstrate progress
- Collaborating with other clinicians within the multidisciplinary team
- Providing practical education and strategies to support safe and sustainable participation in physical activity
- Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation, reports and progress updates
- Contributing to the development and growth of the centre-based Exercise Physiology service
- A recognised tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology
- Current Accredited Exercise Physiologist accreditation with Exercise & Sports Science Australia
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Experience or an interest in rehabilitation, chronic health conditions, disability, healthy ageing or functional exercise
- Strong clinical reasoning and exercise prescription skills
- A person-centred and strengths-based approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- A Medicare provider number, or willingness and eligibility to obtain one
- Full working rights in Australia
The successful applicant will be required to hold or obtain the relevant checks and documentation for the role, including:

A satisfactory National Police Check issued within the three months before commencement
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- A Working with Children Check or Queensland Blue Card, where required by the agreed caseload
- Evidence of current qualifications, ESSA accreditation, First Aid and CPR
- COVID-19 and influenza vaccination evidence, where required
- Evidence of appropriate Australian working rights
