Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced
Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Support Office in Ryde. This is a
full-time, office-based role, Monday to Friday.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment role where you will partner with operational leaders to attract, engage and hire exceptional talent across our network of centres.
About the Role
You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle across a diverse portfolio of early childhood positions. Working closely with hiring managers, you will provide expert recruitment advice while delivering an exceptional candidate experience from application through to onboarding.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment across a portfolio of early childhood roles.
- Partnering with Operations and hiring managers on workforce planning and recruitment strategies.
- Sourcing candidates through SEEK, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals and proactive talent pipelines.
- Conducting structured screening interviews to assess experience, qualifications, working rights and cultural fit.
- Coordinating interviews and providing recruitment guidance to hiring managers.
- Negotiating offers and preparing successful candidates for onboarding.
- Verifying qualifications, working rights and mandatory compliance documentation.
- Coordinating pre-employment compliance, including Working with Children Checks, Police Checks and reference checks through Checkmate.
- Preparing employment contracts and ensuring all compliance requirements are met before commencement.
- Building and maintaining talent pools to support new centre openings and business growth.
- Monitoring recruitment metrics and identifying opportunities to improve recruitment outcomes.
- Delivering an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
- Maintaining accurate recruitment records while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and child safety requirements.

About you
You are an organised and proactive recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
To be successful, you will have:
- Previous experience in end-to-end Talent Acquisition or agency recruitment.
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- Knowledge of recruitment compliance and employment documentation.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System, with JobAdder experience highly regarded.
- Recruitment experience within early childhood education, education, healthcare or another high-volume industry will be highly regarded.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
