Kitchenhand/Dishwasher/BOH All rounder
We are looking for a Back of House All Rounder to support our small team
Must have at least 1 year hospitality experience, be reliable, energetic and keen to learn and assist wherever is needed. Our whole team does whatever is needed to make workflow as smooth and efficient as possible, so we are looking for someone who is willing to be flexible and adaptable
Main responsibilities will include:
- Assist our Chef with basic food prep
- Assist with plating dishes during busy periods
- Be trained to be back up cook / assistant chef when chef goes on leave
- Be responsible for washing all dishes and maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen space
- Assist with organising and cleaning fridges and storage areas
- Assist with labelling and sorting fridge and pantry items
- Polish cutlery, glasses etc to ensure FOH has a consistent supply of clean utensils/glasses etc
- Closing duties such as sweeping, mopping floors and sanitising kitchen
- Take out trash and recycling, wash and sanitise bins
- Weekly deep cleans, cleaning of extraction hood, deep fryers, grill, oven etc
Initially this will be a weekend only role, 7am to 3pm, Saturday and Sunday, with the possibility of adding more hours for the right person.
Training will be provided, but general hospitality experience is a pre-requisite. You need to understand the demands and dynamics of the industry in general.
We are looking for someone who can learn and grow with our team in the long term as the business grows and expands.
Wage will be dependant on experience
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
