About the role
The Project Lead is responsible for delivering telecommunications construction projects and programs across NSW and the ACT, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Reporting to the NSW/ACT State Manager, this role provides leadership and oversight across multiple projects, supporting the successful delivery of critical telecommunications infrastructure while maintaining compliance with contractual and operational requirements.
What you’ll be doing:

Managing project activities, interdependencies, tracking, budgeting, cost estimation, and KPI performance

Preparing and managing project documentation, methodologies, approvals, site access, audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes

Collaborating with the Telepower PMO to plan, schedule, and deliver projects and programs that achieve business outcomes

Building and maintaining strong client, stakeholder, internal and subcontractor relationships to ensure successful project delivery

Ensuring compliance with Ventia, contract, safety, and quality requirements, and critical control checks

Overseeing, logistics, pre-delivery inspections, site audits, and progress reporting throughout the project lifecycle
Are you our next Project Lead? You have:
-
Experience leading and supervising project or site teams within telecommunications, data centre, or related critical infrastructure environments
-
Proven site supervision or project management experience with strong knowledge of Electrical, Telepower, UPS, BESS, and associated systems, including alarm configurations
-
Strong electrical and electrical safety knowledge, with a demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental, and quality standards

Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, problem-solving, and team leadership skills, with the ability to foster a positive team culture

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, able to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive and self-driven approach

Willingness to travel regionally as required to support project delivery and operational needs

- NSW Electrical licence
