Canterbury and District Preschool (CDP) is a community-managed, not-for-profit Kindergarten. We provide 3 and 4 year old sessional Kindergarten programs. We are planning to introduce additional places in our 3YO Kinder Group and are seeking a Diploma or Certificate III qualified Early Childhood Co-Educator to join our team. You will be working within a ratio of 3 staff to 25 children and supported in your role by an experienced lead ECT, Dip Educator and Lunch Cover ECT, along with support from the EL/Director and full CDP team. Mondays and Thursdays: 8.00am to 5.00pm (with 45 min lunch breaks/30 mins unpaid) – session times are 8.30pm to 4.00pm each day The position will require you to be an active team member and includes: * Building welcoming, responsive, equitable and respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues and community * Assisting with the planning and implementation of inspiring and fun-filled, play-based learning programs to extend children’s interests, strengths and abilities * Maintaining CDP’s high standards and commitment to continuous improvement * Applying your commitment to and knowledge of the Child Safe Standards to contribute to a child safe organisation that recognises and values the diverse backgrounds of all children, families, and the local community.
