As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Fabricator to join our team on a casual basis.
The Role
This is a casual position based in Wallan, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.
This role is suited to someone with experience in aluminium window and door fabrication who can work accurately, follow instructions, and produce high-quality work.
You will be responsible for fabricating aluminium windows and doors to project specifications, working closely with our production team to ensure products are completed to a high standard and within required timeframes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Fabricate aluminium windows and doors according to specifications
- Cut, assemble, and prepare aluminium frames and components
- Read and follow work orders, drawings, and production instructions
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely
- Check measurements and ensure accuracy during fabrication
- Maintain quality control throughout the production process
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe
- Work as part of a team to meet production deadlines
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience fabricating aluminium windows and doors is preferred
- Ability to read measurements, drawings, and work instructions
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using fabrication tools and machinery
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of aluminium window and door systems will be highly regarded
