Oil and Gas Business Development Manager
Responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the oil and gas sector. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, managing sales pipelines, preparing proposals, and supporting contract negotiations to drive revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and pursue new business opportunities in the oil and gas market.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, and industry stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare proposals, tenders, presentations, and commercial submissions.
- Negotiate contracts, supply agreements, and master service agreements.
- Work with internal teams such as operations, technical, finance, and project teams to deliver customer solutions.
- Maintain CRM records, pipeline forecasts, and sales reporting.
- Represent the company at conferences, networking events, and industry functions.
Requirements
- Experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles in oil and gas.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to understand technical and commercial aspects of oil and gas projects.
- Experience with proposals, tenders, forecasting, and contract management.
- Often a degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with several years of industry experience.
Pay: $60.00 – $80.00 per hour
