Event Medical Staff – Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics & Medics
Remote EMS is expanding across NSW and South East Queensland and is seeking experienced, professional clinicians to join our casual event medical team.
We provide medical coverage across a broad range of events including motorsport, endurance events, running events, sporting competitions, festivals, community events and other high-risk environments.
We are currently recruiting:

About the Role
As part of the Remote EMS team, you will provide on-site medical care within your approved scope of practice while working alongside other experienced healthcare professionals.
Depending on the event and your qualification level, duties may include:
- Initial patient assessment and triage
- Emergency and acute clinical care
- Trauma assessment and management
- Medical presentations
- Wound care and minor injury management
- Monitoring and observation
- Resuscitation support
- Escalation to ambulance services where required
- Clinical documentation
- Working within event-specific medical plans
- Maintaining equipment and operational readiness
- Communicating with event organisers, emergency services and other clinicians
Our work ranges from smaller community events through to larger and higher-risk operations requiring multidisciplinary medical teams.

- Able to represent Remote EMS professionally with clients and the public
Previous event, emergency, ambulance, hospital, urgent care, remote or pre-hospital experience is highly regarded.
Minimum QualificationsDoctors
- Current appropriate medical registration
Registered Nurses
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Paramedics
- Current AHPRA registration as a Paramedic
Event Medics
Minimum qualification of:
- Diploma of Emergency Healthcare, or
- Diploma of Paramedical Science, or
- Recognised equivalent qualification
Relevant practical experience is highly desirable for Event Medic applicants.
Applicants may also be required to hold or obtain:
- Current CPR and First Aid qualifications where applicable
- National Police Check
- Working With Children Check or Blue Card as applicable
- Evidence of relevant professional registration or qualifications
- Current driver's licence
