The Project Administrator will provide administrative and project coordination support to the Project Management team throughout all stages of construction projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, builders, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative activities across multiple construction projects.
- Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling and resource coordination.
- Prepare, maintain and update project documentation, reports and records.
- Coordinate material orders, deliveries and supplier communications.
- Liaise with builders, subcontractors, consultants and clients regarding project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and assist with maintaining project schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders, variation documentation and project correspondence.
- Maintain project filing systems and document control.
- Assist with Quality Assurance (QA) documentation, inspections and compliance records.
- Coordinate project meetings and prepare meeting minutes when required.
- Support contract administration and project handover documentation.
- Assist with monitoring project costs and administrative reporting.
- Ensure company procedures and project documentation are maintained accurately.

The successful applicant should demonstrate:
- Previous experience as a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- Experience working with construction documentation and project administration.
- Ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
Qualifications
The successful applicant should hold one of the following:
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
