About the Role
Gilmour Space Technologies is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and operation of electrical systems for launch vehicles, satellites, and ground infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Design & Development
Design and develop electrical systems for rockets, satellites, and support equipment.
Support power distribution, batteries, motor controllers, and electrical harnesses.
Assist with PCB design, electronics development, and system analysis.
Contribute to research and development of next-generation space technologies.
Testing & Integration
Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and fault investigation.
Support subsystem integration, verification, and validation activities.
Implement corrective actions and support launch preparation activities.
Collaboration & Project Support
Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams including avionics, propulsion, software, and manufacturing.
Support technical documentation, design reviews, and project planning.
Liaise with suppliers and external partners as required.
About You
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Experience in electrical design and engineering projects.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and technical documentation abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Desirable
Experience with PCB design and power electronics.
Knowledge of SCADA, automation, or industrial control systems.
Background in aerospace, defence, automotive, robotics, or advanced manufacturing.
Experience with electrical testing, validation, and systems engineering.
